ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS VILLAGE OF MORRISVILLE JERSEY HEIGHTS PUMP STATION UPGRADE CONTRACT NO. 1 General Notice Sealed Bids for the construction of Jersey Heights Pump Station Upgrade, Contract No.1 will be received by the Village of Morrisville via electronic mail until 1:00 PM local time on July 2nd, 2025. Bids shall be sent electronically by 1:00 PM, July 2nd, 2025 to all the following addresses: jbooth@aeengineers.com sjohnstone@mwlvt.com kenewton@mwlvt.com winn.wilson@vermont.gov jhaddad@aeengineers.com Bidders are highly encouraged to submit Bidders are highly encouraged to submit their bids earlier than the listed deadline to prevent issues with the submission process. Bids received electronically past the 1:00 PM deadline will be considered late and thus will not be included in the bid tabulation. Bidders are required to reach out to confirm receipt once a bid has been submitted. A bid tabulation will be released to all bidders within 5 business days. The Project includes the following Work: Construction and refurbishment and upgrade of the existing Jersey Heights sewage pump station consisting of refurbishment to existing wet well, installing submersible pumps, precast concrete valve vault, construction of electrical control building, necessary sewage bypassing, site and piping improvements, demolition of the existing pump station, electrical improvements, sitework and drainage improvements, and appurtenant work. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Blueprints, Etc, 20 Ferrell Street, South Burlington, VT 05403, (802) 865-4503. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office at a non-refundable cost of $225 for each set, plus shipping. This purchase price includes a full set of Bidding Documents and an electronic copy of the Bidding Documents in portable document format (PDF). Alternatively, electronic only copies in portable document format (PDF) of the Bidding Documents are available for a non-refundable charge of $140, plus shipping. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents on compact disk will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Bidding documents may be examined at the Morrisville Water & Light Office at 857 Elmore Street, Morrisville, Vermont 05661 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, or by appointment and at www.aeengineers.com. Pre-bid Conference A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 at the site at 857 Elmore Street, Morrisville, Vermont 05661. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Funding and Project Procurement This project is funded in part through the Vermont Clean Water State Revolving Fund. Consequently, the following provisions apply to this WORK. 1. Bid Security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders 2. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements 3. Performance BOND and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price 4. AIS (American Iron and Steel), provisions of P.L. 113-76 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act. 5. BABA (Build America, Buy America), provisions of P.L. 117-58 of the infrastructure investment and jobs Act. 6. Federal Wage Rates as determined under the Davis-Bacon Act 7. Prohibition on Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services Equipment. Instructions to Bidders.
