Bid Description:
The Town of North Hero invites qualified contractors to prepare bids for the construction of the Pelots Point Road Lakeshore Stabilization Project located along Lake Champlain in North Hero, Vermont, herein referred to as the Project. The Project includes all work necessary to provide approximately 150 feet of shoreline stabilization measures, including installation of a bioengineered shoreline consisting of encapsulated soil lifts, stone toe protection, plantings, grading, and associated site restoration as shown on the design plans. The intent of the Project is to stabilize shoreline erosion that threatens Pelots Point Road while providing additional water quality and habitat benefits through bioengineering practices.
