Bid Description:
The Town of Royalton has received grant funding to improve Otto Merrill, an unmaintained, multi-use Class IV Road. Otto Merrill currently suffers from erosion, encroaching wetland patterns, and invasive plant species. The project will include ditching, open bottom culvert and swale installation, and resurfacing to improve drainage and stabilize.

Site Visit: A site visit for contractors shall be held on Thursday, August 20th, 2026 at 1p.m., starting on the Class III side of Otto Merrill.
Approximate address: 579 Otto Merrill Rd, South Royalton, VT 05068. Questions regarding this bid request will be addressed at the site visit.
