Bid Description:
Notch Rd Reclaim, Resurface and Replace Culverts Project:The project is located on Notch Rd in Mendon from the junction of Townline Rd. and Killington Ave. to the end of the paved road, the project length is approximately 1.1 miles. The Town of Mendon seeks bids for the Full Depth Reclamation, Road Base Repair, Culvert Replacement, and Grading, Resurfacing, Ditch clean out & stone lining and rebuild shoulder.
Special Instructions:
Bids from qualified contractors will be accepted until 11:00 am on September 2nd, 2026, at the Mendon Town Garage at 157 Park Lane, Mendon, VT 05701. Bids will be opened in the order received. Bids can be hand delivered, emailed or mailed to be received before the deadline. Please title the bid “Notch Rd Paving Project”.

A mandatory site visit will be conducted at 10:00 am on August 26thth, 2026 with Mendon Road Commissioner, Chris Baird. Please meet at the project location on Notch Rd, parking at the end of the paved road, approximately 1.1 miles from the intersection of Killington Ave. If you are unable to attend this site visit, please contact Chris Baird at 802-770-2169 to schedule a site visit.
