Bid Description:
he Town of Brandon, Vermont, will receive sealed bids for its Summer 2026 Class 2 Road Paving, at the
office of the Town Manager, 49 Center Street, Brandon, Vermont 05733, until Wednesday, May 20, 2026,
at 2PM. At that time, bids will be opened and read aloud. Bidders need not be present at bid opening.
Proposals must arrive on time and in a sealed envelope marked “2026 Brandon Class 2 Paving Bid” to be
considered. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after opening.
Special Instructions:
SCOPE OF WORK (See maps and Lat/Long provided. Emulsion to be sprayed 0.025 to 0.3 gallons per
square yard. ¾” depth [or additional as required] shim of ?” material and 1¼” top coat of ½”
material. Key in all road intersections and connections with paved driveways. The use of a rubber
wheeled roller is required. Bid both sites on one bid form.)
I Union St (T.H. #5): Shim and overlay from #500 (Maple St junction) to south of driveway #1157.
II McConnell Rd (T.H. #8): Shim and overlay from Wood Ln junction to road south end at US Route 7.
