Bid Description:
Sealed bids from pre-qualified contractors shall be accepted until 4:00 p.m., prevailing time on January 12, 2026, at Bridgewater Town Office for construction of the project hereinafter described. Bid opening will occur at the regular Selectboard meeting on January 13, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. The time of receiving and opening bids may be postponed due to emergencies or unforeseen conditions.
Sealed BIDS shall be marked in the lower left-hand corner Bid Documents: Bridge #28
LOCATION: GPS 43.57059N – 73.664753W
Special Instructions:
TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Install one lane temporary bridge to maintain access and removal after completion of project. Excavate roadway approach behind abutment #1 as recommended by the Town’s Consultant Engineer. Scouring report, drawing and backfill information will be provided at mandatory meeting. The roadway approach shall be reconstructed which shall include the roadway Subbase material and pavement.
CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract completion date is subject to the actual time the contractor is allowed in the stream per ANR requirements.
