Bid Description:
Friends of the Winooski River (FWR) is requesting proposals from qualified sawyers and restoration professionals to install Strategic Wood Additions (SWA) across 2.3 miles of the North Branch and Little River headwaters to improve aquatic habitat and floodplain connectivity.
The contractor will document as-built installations with photos, coordinates, and stream measurements in accordance with the LCBP Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP), and report final phosphorus reductions, acres of floodplain restored, and linear feet of stream restored.
