Bid Description:
Bridge 52 is located on Pinello Road (TH 93) approximately 72 feet from the intersection of Pinello Road and Gilead Brook Road and services a single residence. A temporary bridge was installed in 2019 as an emergency response to the failure of the north abutment and subsequently the superstructure due to significant scour during a flood event. The temporary bridge was installed downstream of the existing structure on concrete waste blocks to maintain access to the single residence. This project proposes to construct a new 68-ft span integral abutment bridge on the original alignment, remove the temporary bridge and east abutment of the original structure, and includes associated channel and roadway work.
