Bid Description:
The Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District is requesting proposals for the Cheesefactory Road riparian buffer planting. This project is located on two privately owned parcels in Shelburne and South Burlington, at the corner of Dorset Street and Cheesefactory Road, along the Muddy Brook. The project will restore land adjacent to the brook by establishing a forested riparian buffer intended to improve water quality, stabilize streambanks, and reduce nutrient loading. Phosphorus reduction estimates were developed in coordination with the Basin 8 Planner using approved state modeling tools.
