Bid Description:
Work consists of removal a a failed and undersized metal culvert and headwalls (inlet & outlet), trench backfill, installation of drainage structures, stream channel stabilization, water service line installation, water main abandonment, road restoration, and miscellaneous work and cleanup. Project includes erosion and silt control within and adjacent to the stream channel, and all associated construction zone traffic control.
Special Instructions:
Bid must be accompanied by a certified check for 5% of the total amount of the bid. A bid bond may be used in lieu of certified check. A 100% performance bond in the amount of the accepted base bid will be required. Copies of complete plans and specs are available at Montpelier City Hall, Public Works Office, 39 Main Street, upon payment of $25.
