Bid Description:
Under 33 V.S.A. Chapter 49 requires DCF to maintain an independent Registry Review Unit which contracts for administrative review services for the Vermont Child Protection Registry. Administrative Reviewers conduct reviews of the Family Services Division’s substantiation determinations in accordance with departmental rules, policies and procedures under the purview of the Commissioner's Office. This work will include meeting with individuals that have been substantiated for child abuse and neglect and dispute their placement on the child protection registry and is focused on the outcome of the investigation. Upon request, the Contractor shall also conduct reviews of petitions for expungement on behalf of DCF’s Commissioner. While some meetings can be done virtually there are times when in-person meetings will be necessary.
