Bid Description:
Town of Hartland (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Jenneville Road Culvert Replacement Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Hartland Town Office located at 1 Quechee Road, PO Box 349, Hartland, VT 05048, until Friday, March 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: The replacement of a 3-feet wide by 3.5-feet tall stone box culvert with a precast concrete box culvert (36’-6” L x 12’ W x 7’ H). Culvert will be embedded and have 2 feet of stone installed within its entire length.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Otter Creek Engineering, 404 East Main Street, East Middlebury, VT 05740 Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call the Issuing Office to make an appointment. Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Otter Creek Engineering, Inc., 110 Merchants Row, 4th Floor, Suite 15, by appointment only; contact the Issuing Office to schedule a viewing. Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the issuing office by paying $50.00. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon request by paying $150 for each set by mail. Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to “Otter Creek Engineering, Inc.” mailing address: P.O. Box 712, East Middlebury, VT 05740. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for issuing Addenda if any, to parties obtaining Bidding Documents from sources other than the Issuing Office.
