Bid Description:
The City of Barre, Vermont is soliciting proposals for re-roofing the Barre City Main Street Walk Through and the canopy over the front steps of the Barre Auditorium. Qualified roofing contractors are invited to submit proposals for replacing the existing roofs with a new EPDM material.
A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on Thursday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the Walk-Through site located behind 94 N. Main Street, Barre, VT 05641, to be followed by a site visit to the Auditorium. Prospective bidders may contact Jeff Bergeron at (802) 498-3495 on the day of the site visit.
Bids shall be provided on company letterhead and signed by an authorized agent of the roofing contractor. Bids will be received by the City of Barre until Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Bids shall plainly marked as PROPOSAL: CITY WALK-THROUGH AND AUDITORIUM CANOPY ROOFING PROJECT and must be delivered in a sealed envelope to:

Ability to provide services listed;
Experience with similar projects;
Qualifications of staff; and
Total cost
It is anticipated that, if required, the Barre City Council will award the contract at its Tuesday, March 26, 2024 meeting. All contracts must be fully executed on or about Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
