TOWN OF WOLCOTT, VERMONT
TOWN HILL ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
Sealed bids for the construction in the Town of Wolcott, Town Hill Road Improvements and associated work will be received by the Town of Wolcott, at the Wolcott Town Office, 28 Railroad Street (PO Box 100), Wolcott, VT 05680 until Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 3:30 pm. at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Town. The project generally consists of the construction of a stone embankment repair, ditch work and miscellaneous and appurtenant construction. Work must follow the Vermont Agency of Transportation 2024 Standard Specifications for construction and prospective bidders shall be pre-qualified to work on Vermont Agency of Transportation Projects at the time of bid opening. Interested parties shall understand that final contract award and contract signing will be dependent of FEMA funding approval.
Bidding documents will be issued by New England Consulting Engineers, LLC, (dlefavour@newengce.com or 802-279-3257. Documents are available by PDF (free of charge) or $50 for a printed copy: 120 Northgate Avenue, Morrisville, VT 05661 (by appointment only, Mon-Fri, 8AM-4PM).
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the project site on Town Hill Road, Wolcott, VT 05680. In the event of unsuitable weather the meeting will be held at the Wolcott Town Office.
