The Town of Fairfax invites bonded General Contractors to bid on general construction and renovation work at the Fairfax Fire Station at 15 Goodall Street, Fairfax, Vermont.
Sealed bids will be received at the Town Offices, Town of Fairfax, 12 Buck Hollow Road, Fairfax, Vermont until 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2024, and then at said office shall be publicly opened and read aloud. The bid opening shall be open to the public.
Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid amount. In addition, the Town will require a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a labor & material payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
Bid documents will be available on or after February 16, 2024 only from the office of Blueprints, Etc., South Burlington, VT 05403; 802-865-4503. Contract documents will be mailed upon receipt of non-refundable $150.00 per set ($150.00 for electronic set), drawn to Blueprints, Etc. A set of bid documents will be available for viewing at the Works in Progress Rooms in Burlington, VT. Partial sets will not be issued.
A pre bid conference and walk-through will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the project site for the purpose of showing the site and building to prospective bidders.
