Bid Description:
BPRW is seeking services from a qualified consultant, or team of consultants, to develop construction documents for Phase 1 of Section 8 of Lakeview Cemetery. Section 8 is approximately 2 acres. A conceptual design and layout was completed in October 2020 which accounts for the historical context of the cemetery, the current burial trends and anticipated changes in burial approaches in coming years, including alternative burial methods, and options for inclusivity.
The Section 8 Overall Layout was designed to optimize partial views of Lake Champlain and Burlington Bay from the site. It was also developed keeping maintenance in mind by setting aside the western edge for storage/ connectivity around the site. The concept was generated with some flexibility to meet the mid/long-range changing user needs well into the future.
