Bid Description:
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks qualified stormwater design consultant proposals to provide professional services using green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) based approach. The successful consultant will assist the Town in designing repairs to town road infrastructure to reduce road damage to the maximum extent practicable while addressing increased storm frequency and stormwater volumes. The selected firm will work with town staff and elected officials, including State permitting, FEMA and other federal agencies to bring projects to 30% design, final design & construction bid package, and provide inspection services. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded for one or more consecutive years, including two immediate sites needing design & inspection services have been preliminarily identified for FEMA mitigation under DR-4720-VT.
