Bid Description:
The Franklin County Natural Resources Conservation District (Franklin County NRCD or FCNRCD) seeks the services of a qualified professional firm or team with experience in civil engineering and hazard mitigation planning/river corridor management (Consultant) to assist in modeling for flood hazards and hazard mitigation project identification. The results of the comprehensive study will inform decision makers who manage the landscape around the Trout River, Black Falls Brook, and West Hill Brook to understand the risks and hazards to life, property, and infrastructure, associated with potential future flooding in Montgomery, VT, as well as potential opportunities for mitigation and restoration projects.
