Bid Description:
The Town of Killington seeks proposals from qualified companies for special inspection and material testing services. The selected company or companies will perform as needed geotechnical inspection and material testing services. The goal would be for the owner to contract with one testing agency to perform all the testing and inspection needs of the project. Special inspectors work on behalf of the Owner acting as the owner’s Certified testing and inspection agent. Project Description: Located in the Town of Killington, Road phase 1B extends from the intersection of Killington Road and US 4/VT 100 to the intersection of Killington Road and Anthony Way. Work to be performed includes reprofiling of Killington Road and a new shared use path for a total distance of 1,237 feet. This project includes relocation of existing sanitary sewer lines and the addition of a new 8 inch water line, and replacement of drainage infrastructure. The work was awarded to Markowski Excavating in August, 2023 with clearing occurring in October, 2023. All work is to be completed by July 8, 2024. Testing and Inspections Services will be on an ongoing basis throughout the project. Pre-qualification statement & submission information: The Town of Killington Vermont requests Geotechnical Companies requests to submit Letters of Interest and pre-qualification statements in electronic format no later than October 4 @ 3PM to PCI - Capital Project Consultants.
