Bid Description:
The Vermont Developmental Disabilities Council (VTDDC) is pleased to announce a grant opportunity for organizations interested in implementing a program to support family members through the special education process. Modeled on the New Jersey, Special Education Volunteer Advocacy (SEVA) Program, this project would match parents/guardians with a trained special education advocate for a time-limited period structured as a multi-stage episode of engagement. In this first year, the project would be limited to Chittenden, Franklin, and Grant Isle Counties. VTDDC has made $35,000 available for the 12-month performance period from Oct. 1, 2023, through Sept. 30, 2024.
