The Vermont Department of Corrections (DOC), is seeking proposals for an external consultant to provide non-IT consultation to the state correctional facilities in food service operations, menu development, special diet (medical and religious), menu development, monthly inspections, training of staff, evaluation of existing equipment and aid in procuring replacement equipment, dietician services, and to assist with overall food service fiscal management (purchasing, inventory, cost per meal) controls. The anticipated contract period will be October 2023 through September 2025, with the option to renew for two consecutive one-year periods. The option to renew will be based upon performance of contractor and continued funding.
