Bid Description:
The State of Vermont is seeking proposals for the handpulling of water chestnut plants from sites in Lake Champlain (both the NY and VT sides) from Lake Converse and Cedar Bay located near the Converse Bay VT Fish and Wildlife Boat Access (44.295780, -73.291777) to Stony Point (43.743678, -73.366259), two miles south of the George Davis VT Fish and Wildlife Boat Access in Orwell, VT (approximately 1,000+ acres). The State will provide a water chestnut management on-site field supervisor to oversee and coordinate the management program in 2023. Up to $55,000 is anticipated to be available from June 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
