Bid Description:
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation (FPR) is inviting written proposals to operate the spray irrigation wastewater disposal system at Lake Carmi State Park for the 2023, 2024 operating seasons with option for two one-year extensions for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
The Contractor shall be responsible for:
Daily operation of the wastewater disposal systems at Lake Carmi State Park in strict conformance with the provisions of wastewater disposal permit # ID-9-0061 signed August 30, 2021 on file with the State of Vermont, Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and available at the link provided in the Background Section above. Included is daily operations and maintenance of the engineered wetland in accordance with Wastewater Treatment Constructed Wetland Operations and Maintenance Recommendations dated February 16, 2019 (attached to this RFP). No deviations from permit conditions are allowed without prior written approval of DEC. For this facility, spraying operation shall be scheduled and paid as an additional service.
