Bid Description: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Department of Mental Health (DMH, hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish contracts with one or more companies that can provide technical assistance with mental health assessment data. Vermont has been capturing mental health assessment data for its community mental health providers for several years. The data are warehoused in a structured format by Vermont Care Partners, a non-profit organization representing 11 mental health agencies in the state. The system of care primarily utilizes two mental health assessment tools, Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) and Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA). Vermont has a strong need to develop a set of robust reports based on the CANS and ANSA data to effectively inform and continue to improve the service delivery process. Vermont’s process has been collaborative through a productive partnership between providers and the State.
