Bid Description:
Bids will ONLY be received and accepted via online electronic bid service through https://www.questcdn.com until 11:00 AM, January 28, 2022, local time at such time will be opened online. Anyone interested in witnessing the public bid opening over the phone or internet is to contact Hoyle, Tanner for a link to the open conference call. Please contact Stephen Haas, shaas@hoyletanner.com, 603-460-5168 or Donna Akerley, dakerley@hoyletanner.com, 603- 460-4934 for meeting information at least five (5) days prior to the scheduled bid opening. The 5- day lead time is required in case the bid opening time changes. Project includes a new mid-block pedestrian crossing, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, overhead lighting, reconstructed median islands, new sidewalk and curb ramps, removal of the eastbound bus pull off, a 2” cold plane, a 2” wearing course, and associated drainage and guardrail modifications. Location is Kennedy Drive at West Twin Oaks Terrace Mid-Block Pedestrian Crossing project limits will include approximately 550 linear feet on Kennedy Drive (centered on intersection) and approximately 50 linear feet up West Twin Oaks Terrace.

Each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
Bids submitted by bidders that exceed their Maximum Dollar Capacity Rating (MDCR) as determined by the Vermont Agency of Transportation on an annual basis may be considered non-responsive. This contract is governed by the Vermont Agency of Transportation
(“VTrans”) 2018 Standard Specifications for Construction.
