Brook Road Box Culvert Project
Advertisement for Bids
Sealed Bids for the Brook Road Box Culvert Project and associated improvements will be received by the Town of Wolcott, at the Town of Wolcott Office (28 Railroad Street / PO Box 100, Wolcott, VT 05680), until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Town. The project generally consists of the removal of an existing damaged culvert and concrete abutments, provide and install a new reinforced concrete box culvert and wing walls, stream and bank stabilization, guardrail installation, and other highway related items. Work will generally follow the Vermont Agency of Transportation 2018 Standard Specifications for Construction, and prospective bidders shall be pre-qualified to work on Vermont Agency of Transportation Projects at the time of bid opening.
Bidding Documents will be issued by Wilson Consulting Engineers, PLC (jwilson@wce-co.com or 802-793-9868). Documents are available by PDF (free of charge) or hard-copy ($100 non-refundable).
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the project site at 130 Brook Road, Wolcott, Vermont.
A Bid Bond shall be required for the Bid submittal to be accepted and Payment & Performance Bonds will be required for the successful bidder.
