Bid Description:
Farmworkers are especially reluctant to reach out for services surrounding stress and mental health issues for a variety of reasons. There are growing concerns for the mental health of farm workers, both domestic and migrant. Assessment should engage farmers, farmworkers (domestic and migrant) at the farm, or locations that are comfortable to the individual, to discuss issues that contribute to stress, and identify resources, advocacy groups and organizations currently serving this demographic and determine potential barriers to accessing supports. The assessment will be reported to the Agency of Agriculture, Farm First and assembled service providers to determine recommendations for both short-term and longer-term services.

Special Instructions:
The deliverables for this project are as follows: 1. Detailed plan to develop and implement an interview survey process with domestic and migrant labor in Vermont. 2. Proposed list of survey questions. 3. Timeline for conducting the interviews, report, and presentation. 4. List of organizations to be contacted for assistance in accessing domestic and migrant labor. 5. Presentation of a final report to the Agency of Agriculture and Farm First
