Bid Description:
Roofing Contractor for Town of Coventry
We are looking for a Roofing Contractor to replace the existing asphalt shingle roof with a dark gray standing seam roof on the Coventry Community Church on the town square in the Village area. This work does not include any work to the steeple or bell tower areas – only the main roof sections.
Key steps:
1 Remove gutter system to prevent damage during construction
2 Strip old and damaged existing asphalt shingles
3 Dispose of waste material
4 Fix roof decking material as needed (no more than 25% appears to need work and additional fees will be negotiated should more of the roof decking need repairs)
5 Install drip edge and appropriate flashing around steeple area – venting along ridge
6 Install ice and water shield over entire roof
7 Install dark gray standing seal metal roof
8 Re-install gutter system.
We are open to completion dates in 2021 or 2022.
