Bid Description:
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets (collectively hereinafter “State” or “Agency” or “VAAFM”) requests formal written proposals and qualifications from consultants to provide.
Comprehension Data Analysis of Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets’ Subsurface Tile Drainage Sampling Services Program
The State, under the Agricultural Clean Water Initiative Program, requests assistance in performing a comprehensive analysis of data collected during the tenure of the State’s Subsurface Tile Drainage Sampling Services Contract (hereinafter “Sampling Contract”).
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is intended to review and analyze data collected from January 2018 through December 2021 as part of the Sampling Contract. The Sampling Contract involved extensive grab sampling from the outlets of subsurface tile drainages located in agricultural fields across the State of Vermont. The water samples were analyzed for Total Nitrogen (TN), Total Phosphorus (TP), and Dissolved Phosphorus (DP) at the Vermont Agricultural and Environmental Lab (VAEL). The sample collectors also collected quantitative turbidity and instantaneous outlet flow data, in addition to recording site characteristics and ongoing field practices occurring on the agricultural fields throughout the extent of the Sampling Contract.
RFP estimated cost has not been determined on this time. The contract amount will be dependent upon the submitted bids.
