Bid Description:
The Town of Bristol is seeking engineering services to design a crosswalk to bring pedestrians and others of modal means to and from the Firehouse Drive area to the north side of West Street. While many people have envisioned a crosswalk directly across from Firehouse Drive to the north side of West Street, it may turn out that sight distance from the west, traffic speeds, drainage issues, utility conflicts, or other factors on the north side of West Street may require another location.
Special Instructions:
This is a locally-funded project and this RFB is not intended to be onerous to respond to. We will be interested in a consultant with relevant experience who can begin the design process soon after award and complete the design scope in a timely way.
