Bid Description:
This Request for Proposals invites responses from experienced professional excavation, site-work, and landscape construction contractors to assist the City of Burlington Department of Parks, Recreation & Waterfront (BPRW) with converting a baseball infield to a softball infield at Schifilliti Park, 126 Gosse Ct, Burlington, VT 05401.
Schifilliti Park primarily functions as a Little League hub and is situated between athletic facilities at Hunt Middle School & CP Smith Elementary School. Schifilliti is also immediately adjacent to the BPRW Robert Miller Community & Recreation Center.
BPRW seeks a contractor to excavate and remove the existing little league baseball infield of Roger Woods Field and to install, compact, and properly grade a sand base, infield mix, and infield conditioner for a new softball infield.
