Bid Description:
The Town of Swanton is requesting proposals for engineering services for a project to construct a sidewalk from Swanton Village to the Missisquoi Valley Union High School entrance. The project is funded in part by the Federal Highway Administration and the Town of Swanton, through the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) Municipal Assistance Bureau (MAB).The project will begin at the eastern boundary of Swanton Village on VT Route 78 (First St) where
the existing sidewalk ends. The project will continue along Route 78 easterly approximately 3100’to Thunderbird Drive (MVU driveway).
