Bid Description:
The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide all work shown in this Request for Bids. This project consists of the installation of:
Orchard Street
• Approximately 365 linear feet of 8” PVC SDR35 gravity sewer.
• Approximately 215 linear feet of new 12” PE stormdrain.
• Approximately 12 linear feet of 4” PVC SDR35 drain.
• Two (2) new catch basins and one (1) new stormdrain manhole.
• Sewer service connections.
Water Tower Road
• Approximately 352 linear feet of 8” PVC SDR35 gravity sewer.
The work shall be performed in accordance with the contract specifications.
SCHEDULE
The anticipated schedule is:
? The Village anticipates an award of the contract at the July 14, 2020, Board of Trustees meeting.
? The Contractor can begin construction anytime but work must begin first on Orchard Street and must be completed by August 28, 2020, so that milling and overlay of the street can be completed. The schedule for the Water Tower Road sewerline is flexible.
You are invited to submit a bid for the Village of Enosburg Falls - Orchard Street and Water Tower Road Sewer and Stormwater Improvements.
All bids must be mailed to the Village of Enosburg Falls, Village Office, 42 Village Drive, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450 and received by 10:00 AM on July 9, 2020. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be a public bid opening.
The bid shall be submitted by mail in a separate sealed envelope and marked on the outside with the words “Sealed Bid – Orchard Street and Water Tower Road Sewer and Stormwater Improvements". Failure to submit bids on the required forms or on time may be cause for rejection of the bid.
Before submitting a proposal, bidders shall carefully read the Request for Bids, visit the work site, and fully inform themselves as to all existing conditions.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 1:30 PM, June 30, 2020, at the Village of Enosburg Falls, Village Office, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450. Contractor participation isn’t required but highly encouraged.
