ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the Brattleboro Digested Sludge Storage Tank Cover, will be received by the Town of Brattleboro, VT. The bid consists of the installation of a new cover on the sludge storage tank. The BIDS shall be received electronically by the Town of Brattleboro, until 1:00 PM June 12, 2020. Bidding Contractors are required to submit their bids electronically to all the following address:

Bidders are highly encouraged to submit their bids earlier than the listed deadline to prevent issues with the submission process. Bids received electronically past the 1:00 P.M. deadline will be considered late and thus will not be included in the bid tabulation. Bidders are required to reach out to confirm receipt after submitting their bid. A bid tabulation will be released to all bidders within 5 business days.
Site visits can be scheduled with Harvey Dix, Chief Operator between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Harvey Dix can be reached at (802) 257-2318 or hdix@brattleboro.org. A pre-bid meeting has not been scheduled for this project.
Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the OWNER for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check.

A Performance BOND and a Payment BOND each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required.
