Bid Description:
Camp Wihakowi Dam on Bull Run in Northfield will be removed along with accumulated sediment to protect water quality, restore the stream channel, and improve aquatic organism passage. Project construction is anticipated between June 15 and October 15, 2020. Work tasks will generally involve removal of Camp Wihakowi Dam (120 CY of concrete); sediment removal and hauling offsite (~26,000 CY); removal and disposal of a deteriorated inground swimming pool; stream channel restoration; site grading; installation of ball and burlap trees; installation of an informal pedestrian bridge; and site restoration.

Email jlouisos@mminc.com for electronic plans. A pre-bid site meeting will not be held due to the inability to gather as a large group with the COVID-19 pandemic. Pre-bid videos have been prepared that provide 1) an introduction to the project, 2) photographic tour of the site, and 3) an overview of the construction plans that describes the construction plan highlights.
