Bid Description:
The Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF), Family Services Division (FSD), (hereinafter called DCF) is seeking to establish an agreement with an organization to address urgent needs of youth due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This agreement is intended to provide support to youth who are experiencing hardship as a result of COVID-19 to reduce the risk of engaging in delinquent behaviors.
The subrecipient will address urgent needs of youth due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The subrecipient will provide support and assistance to youth ages 12 to 23 (inclusive) who are experiencing hardship as a result COVID-19 in the following areas to reduce the risk of engaging in delinquent behaviors:
a.Stable living environments.
b.Education.
c.Employment.
d.Physical health, mental health and substance abuse.
e.Social and emotional.
