Bid Description:
The project includes replacement of an existing 36-inch plastic culvert with a new 57”x38” arch CMP culvert. The culvert will be installed in accordance with the manufacturer specifications and common best practices including head walls. Removal and disposal of excess “waste” soils is the responsibility of the contractor. All work will occur in and be accessed from the Town and State road rights-of-way. Erosion control best practices are required, temporary diversion of the stream flow is allowed as needed, and the road surface shall be returned to pre-construction conditions.
Special Instructions:
A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Monday, May 18 at 10:00 AM. The mandatory site visit schedule is subject to change based on the evolving situation related to COVID-19.
