Bid Description:
The State of Vermont, Division for the Blind and Visually
Impaired (DBVI) is a statewide direct service organization within the Department of Disabilities, Aging
and Independent Living (DAIL) in the Agency of Human Services (AHS), jointly hereafter “State.”
DBVI is seeking a contractor to provide orientation and mobility and rehabilitation services to blind or
visually impaired individuals throughout the State. Eligible bidders must have capability to provide
state-wide program services to individuals that are blind or visually impaired. An understanding of the
experience of living with a disability as well as practical knowledge of individuals that are blind or
visually impaired is a plus.
