Bid Description:
Qualified vendors are invited to bid on the supply and delivery of green, heat-treated and/or kiln-dried firewood to various Vermont State Parks in Region 3. Vermont State Parks mandates the use of local firewood only in an attempt to prevent the introduction of harmful invasive species to our region. To this end, Vermont State Parks offers firewood for sale in many of its parks. In addition to invasive species mitigation, offering on-site firewood deters guests from cutting down trees and/or gathering wood not suitable for burning. Using high-quality, seasoned wood also provides a safe, effective, and more enjoyable fire for guests.
