Bid Description:
The Town of Chelsea, Vermont is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ)s from
contractors interested in being prequalified to bid on the Moxley Covered Bridge
Project in Chelsea, Vermont. The Town of Chelsea is NOT accepting bids for this project at this time.
Project Plans may be obtained from the Town of Chelsea’s Website or the Chelsea

Contractor Selection Process
The selection of the contractor will be a two-step process.
Step 1, prequalification of contractors.
Step 2, contractors who have been determined to be prequalified will be invited to bid on the project.
All potential Prime Contractors that wish to be prequalified to bid on this project shall answer all
question on the attached TIMBER COVERED BRIDGE PREQUALIFICATION QESTIONAIRE.
The answers will be evaluated by the prequalification committee to determine if the Contractor or the Contractor’s proposed team has the ability and the experience to perform the work required in accordance with the Specifications.
