COUNTRY CLUB OF BOLTON HOMEOWNERS’ CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION, INC. BOLTON, VERMONT WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT LOAN NUMBER RF3-378-3.0 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements Project, State Loan Number RF3- 378-3.0 will be received, by Country Club of Bolton Homeowners’ Condominium Association, Inc. at the office of Green Mountain Engineering, Inc., 1438 South Brownell Road, Williston, VT 05495, until 2:00 pm local time on February 18, 2020 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of the demolition of an existing water controls building and the construction of a new controls building with radium and iron/manganese treatment systems, pumps, telemetry, controls, plumbing, electrical services, backup generator, backwashing treatment system and finished water reservoir improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Green Mountain Engineering, Inc., 1438 South Brownell Road, PO Box 159, Williston, VT 05495 with Brad M. Washburn, bwashburn@gmeinc.biz, (802) 249- 4210, as the lead engineer. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Works in Progress, 20 Farrell St, South Burlington, VT 05403 and online at Green Mountain Engineering Dropbox (contact GME office @ 802-862-5590 for username and password.) and the office of the Engineer,. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a deposit of $ 150.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 30 days after receipt of Bids will receive a half refund. Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will receive a refund of $ 75.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “Green Mountain Engineering, Inc.”. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10 am local time on February 04, 2020 at the project site located at 68 Country Club Drive, Bolton, VT. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. This project is funded in part through the Vermont Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. Consequently, the following provisions apply to this WORK (more detail for each of these provisions can be found in Instruction to Bidders): 1.
