Bid Description:
DEC is seeking proposals from eligible applicants with the ability to handle the completion of projects for the collection, processing and management of household hazardous waste (HHW), conditionally exempt generator hazardous waste (CEG), special waste, and landfill-banned wastes consistent with requirements of the Vermont Materials Management Plan (MMP). DEC anticipates entering into 5-year agreements to allocate funding to assist with the cost of implementing these plans. The agreements will be reviewed and/or updated on an annual basis to assess appropriate obligation of funds to align with any revised scope of work. Only Vermont municipalities and Solid Waste Management Entities are eligible for these funds.
