Bid Description:
The Town of Mendon (Town) is requesting bids from qualified construction contractors to install a dry hydrant along with a turnout for vehicle access. All construction work to be completed in June 2020 as specified in the information for bidders. The request for bids, Information for Bidders, (RFP) contact is available at www.mendonvt.org or at the Town of Mendon, 2282 US Route 4, Mendon, VT 05701. A mandatory on-site briefing is scheduled for November 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the pond project site at 5709 Route 4 in Mendon. The Town’s Director of Public Safety will then conduct a site review with interested parties. Bids shall be delivered to the name and address identified in the Information for Bidders no later than November 25, 2019 at 12:00 PM. Proposals submitted later than this date and time will not be opened, and will be rejected.
Special Instructions:
Construction Timeframe is after June 1, 2020 when we can work in the water of the pond. The project is expected to take 2-3 days and must be completed by June 20, 2020.
