Bid Description:
The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation (VTDEC) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide identification of benthic macroinvertebrate samples collected from Vermont streams and Rivers. VTDEC anticipates issuing a contract not the exceed $5,000/year for up to a total of $20,000 (total of four years) for the identification of 20-25 benthic macroinvertebrate samples collected annually each Fall. Quotes should reflect the average expected cost per sample for the identification of specimens to species or lowest possible taxonomic level where specimens have already been picked from debris and sorted by order.
