Bid Description:
Stagecoach, a division of Tri-Valley Transit (TVT), in partnership with the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) has received funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), for the design and construction of a Bus Storage Facility and Administrative Offices in Bradford, Vermont. The project is for approximately 9,680 square feet of space consisting of: 1,680 square feet of administrative and operations office space plus 8,000 square feet of indoor bus storage for up to 10 buses and a vehicle wash bay. The project also includes employee and visitor parking for 10 automobiles and 10 bus parking spaces. Stagecoach’s Feasibility Study, completed in March 2018, recommended a facility program co- located on the same site as the VTrans Park-and-Ride Facility, just off Exit 16 on Interstate 89 at 848 Waits River Road in the Town of Bradford. VTrans has committed to leasing the site and is in the process of generating a formal agreement. The site will need conditional use and an Act 250 environmental permit, subject to those already granted to VTrans for the site.
