Bid Description:
The project involves dismantling and reconstructing the existing stone stairs leading to the park visitors center building; replacing the steel handrail assemblies and their foundations adjacent to the stone stairs; dismantling and rebuilding the stone patio and stone walkways around the visitors center; removing the concrete slab and stone patio under the visitors center loggia roof and rebuilding the stone patio and post foundations under the loggia roof; replacing (2) flagpoles and their foundations; select loggia timber post repair and anchorage; replacement of an existing water service line; installation of drainage pipes and trench drains; turf and landscaping establishment; erosion and sediment control; minor stone retaining wall repair; and all other incidental work necessary to complete the project.
