Bid Description:
The Tax Department is part of the Agency of Administration with the purpose of collecting the proper amount of tax revenue in a timely and efficient manner to pay for the goods and services provided by the State government.The Department often requires evidentiary hearings before the Commissioner, Director of Property Valuation and Review or designated hearing officer, to make fact-based determinations regarding tax appeals. If these determinations are appealed to the Vermont courts, the hearing must be transcribed and provided to the court for review. An audio recording will be transferred to the contractor for transcription. The Contractor need not be present for the hearing.
