Bid Description:
PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS: All bidders shall be on the current VTRANS Contract Administration pre-qualified list “Contractors List of Bridge Construction OR Roads and Highway Construction Category”.
LOCATION: Beginning at a point on Town Highway 17 (Eagle Point Road) in north Derby, at a point approximately 6,000 ft westerly of the intersection with North Derby Road.
TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes: The construction of a new slab deck bridge, removal of existing culvert, channel work, roadway approaches, paving, guardrail, stone fill, removal of existing detour and temporary bridge.

Sealed bids from pre-qualified contractor shall be accepted until 5:00 PM, prevailing time on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Derby Town Offices located at 124 Main Street, Derby, VT 05829.
Sealed BIDS shall be marked in the lower left hand corner: Bid Documents: Town of Derby VT FLAP(1) – DERBY 17(1).
Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Town of Derby for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check.
