Bid Description:
The State of Vermont, Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired (DBVI) is a statewide direct service organization within the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL) in the Agency of Human Services (AHS), jointly hereafter “State.” The Vermont Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) is a is a non-profit, non-governmental, organization established to assist people with disabilities to live as independently as possible. DBVI and SILC seek are seeking a contractor to maintain the existing content from 3 SILC websites using WordPress open source website software. An understanding of the experience of living with a disability as well as practical knowledge of individuals that are blind or visually impaired is a plus.
