Bid Description:
The Town of Stockbridge is seeking engineering services for the design and construction phases of a new sand/salt shed project to contain the existing sand pile on site and replace the old salt shed located at 1996 Blackmer Blvd, Stockbridge, VT 05762 (at the town garage). The scope of work will include a 12ft W lean-to structure off of the new building to shield the fuel and chloride tanks. The project also requires land acquisition from the adjacent parcel north for sufficient room for the new building and retaining wall.
This project is funded by a VTrans Municipal Mitigation Grant and the development of the project must follow the VTrans Municipal Assistance Bureau (MAB) project development process. Qualified disadvantaged (DBE) and women (WBE) owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The Town of Stockbridge is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
